At Calvary UMC, we believe that the foundations of faith begin with the family. We strive to support these faith foundations through our Family Ministries. Family Ministries include educational, fellowship and mission-oriented opportunities for children and their families to participate in. We are excited to announce that our Family Ministries program is growing!
Children’s Church is a time for children to build their faith in Jesus through age-appropriate lessons, songs, games and activities. Children’s church is for kids age pre-k through 8th grade. Children’s Church meets in the Chapel during the 10am worship service. Children may join their parent or guardian for the beginning of worship in the sanctuary and will attend Children’s Church following the children’s message. Children also have the option to stay with their parents for worship in the sanctuary. Those in 6th, 7th and 8th have opportunities to develop their leadership skills as helpers in Children’s Church or may choose to attend the regular worship service with their parents. If you would like to register your child for children’s church or would like more information please contact: charitypreston.calvaryumc@gmail.com or kristenrains.calvaryumc@gmail.com

Summer is just around the corner and Skye Farm is counting down the days to when the first group of campers arrives! Are your campers registered for camp yet? Summer camp is an amazing opportunity for youth to live in Christian community, spend time unplugging, and making memories that will last a lifetime. Calvary offers scholarships to help support getting youth to camp, Click Here for the new scholarship application. We offer scholarships to all the Upper New York camps although Skye Farm is our preferred camp given its proximity and long-standing connection with Calvary. Check out their summer programs here.
