Accessibility at Calvary 

What we have done so far: 

1990's: Large Print Hymnals purchased. 

2009: Installed a lift between 1st and  2nd floor and automatic door openers on lower level exterior door. 

2009: Upgraded our bathrooms to be accessible, with grab bars, sinks, soap dispensers, paper towel dispensers. 

2009: Air Conditioning in sanctuary and gathering space installed

2009: Ramp installed in Gathering Space to connect the education wing

2009: FM hearing assist device installed in the sanctuary

2009: Accessible flooring (hard scape) installed. 

2009: Child accessible bathroom installed

2009: Removed stairs into Pastor's office and made them fully accessible

2015: Projection Screen and projector installed in sanctuary

2016: Live Stream equipment installed in Sancturay

2018: Threshold ramp installed at emergency exit in sanctuary

2020: New lighting in sanctuary installed

2021: New LED lighting installed throughout church building

2023: Education wing Bathrooms stall removed.

2025: Second Door opener on lower leve installed

2025: Lowered threshold of main entrance for wheel chair accessibility

2025: Education wing door handles upgraded to ADA lever compliance.

2025: Live Stream equipment Upgraded to multi camera system. 

2026: Sanctuary flooring replaced and leveled. (Carpet to LVT)

2026: Ramps installed to provice access to chancel choir loft. 

2026: Pews replace with moveable chairs (armed and unarmed) 

2026: Prayerground for children with sensory issues installed in sanctuary. 

Future Goals: 

Auracast hearing assist system

Automatic door openers for all exterior doors

Lower level bathrooms upgrades for handicap accessibility 

Preschool bathrooms renovated for child accessibility. 

Accessible Parking Lots, and 

Accessible Play Ground for children
