Prime Timers
Prime Timers – A group of mature adults who gather quarterly, usually on the 3rd Wednesday, at noon. When together we share food, we socialize, we learn, and we have fun! Occasionally the group will take a day trip. Participants represent several faith communities and while many are retired, some participants are still working. All are welcome and Prime Timers are encouraged to invite friends or family members to our meetings.

The next PrimeTimer meeting is our annual Christmas party on December 11th, 12 pm at Calvary. It’s going to be a little different program than past years, but it should be an enjoyable meeting. The December 11th meeting will include a meal, our own version of "What Would You Do" presented by John Phillippe, a Yankee Swap gift exchange, and a donation to the St. Ambrose Food Bank.
The meal will include pizza, salad, dessert, and punch. The choices for the pizza will be cheese, veggie, or peperoni. We’ll plan on two slices per person. Please let us know your choice(s) by December 6 so we can place the order. If you prefer, you can bring your own lunch. The meal will be provided by Prime Timers. We ask that you bring a non-perishable item to be donated to the St. Ambrose Food Bank. The "What Would You Do" presentation will be led by our own Pastor John.
The Yankee Gift Swap (participation optional) will work as follows: Each participant brings a wrapped gift of a $5-10 value. Each participant will pick a number from 1 to however many gifts there are. #1 picks a gift from the pile and opens it. #2 may either pick a new gift or take #1's gift. #1 would then pick another gift and open it. The game continues until all have had a chance to pick or “steal.” Then #1 gets one more chance to either keep the gift they have or take someone else's gift. Gifts may only be “stolen” twice. You probably have done a similar gift swap before, so you know they are a lot of fun!!

· We still need 3 interested Prime Timers to join the Prime Timers Board beginning January! We meet just twice a year. Contact current Board president, Karla Smith, kjsmithalb@gmail.com, for more information.
Reminders:
· We meet quarterly now; March, June, September, and December.
· Dues for 2025 will remain $5.00 for the calendar year. Make checks payable to ‘Prime Timers’.
· If you would like to attend a meeting but need transportation, please let us know. We will try to coordinate a ride for you. Or if you can provide a ride, please let us know.
· If you are interested in being a Team Planner or have a great idea for a future meeting, please contact Sharon Kunkel.
