Calvary children’s ministries provides teaching and learning opportunities with Christian principles found in stories from the Bible using age level appropriate materials and activities. The goal is to help each child begin to combine these ideas with activities that help them develop their identity as followers of Jesus Christ.
Classes are Sunday mornings for children in grades Pre-K through 8th grade. The children attend the first part of the worship service with their parents and then leave to attend their classes. Each class uses a variety of age-appropriate Bible based lessons and activities. In addition there is participation and focus on mission work throughout the year.
Sunday School is led by our Director of Children's Ministries, Charity Preston, along with volunteers. Safe Sanctuary policies are practiced, which means at least two adults are present, and all adults have passed a background check.
